About the event
Pianist Hyewon Yoon is recognised for her expressive artistry and accomplished performances in Korea and the United States. Based in New York, she earned her Master of Music degree from the Mannes School of Music after receiving her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with top honours from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea, where she studied under MinJung Baek.
She has won numerous national and international competitions, including First Prize at the 2025 Cambridge International Piano Festival. She was also a finalist in the 2024 George and Elizabeth Gregory Concerto Competition. In 2025, she received the Josef Fidelman Memorial Award from the Mannes School of Music and the College of Performing Arts Graduation Award. She is active as a performer and educator in New York City.
